On Friday, Feb. 1 around 9 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Main Street near Old Town Road. The officer observed liquor bottles on the floor of the vehicle and an odor of marijuana.

The driver, 21-year-old Hakeem Barclay of Bridgeport, had less than half an ounce of marijuana in his possession. The rear passenger, 19-year-old Romario Graham of Bridgeport, also had less than an ounce of marijuana in his possession.

Front seat passenger Tiyesse Boone, 22, of Bridgeport, had more than 80 bags of heroin in his possession in addition to two loaded handguns (one with an extended magazine) and several hundred dollars in cash. The serial number on one of the handguns was discovered to be intentionally obscured to impede identification.

Boone was arrested and charged possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of high capacity magazine, illegal alteration of a firearm and two counts of criminal possession of a firearm and weapons in a motor vehicle. He is being held on $150,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, Feb. 8. Barclay and Graham were issued infractions and released at the scene.
